“Wash and fold” is a term that refers to the basic act of laundering clothes through a laundromat service where you drop off your clothing items to have them professionally cleaned. It is also sometimes referred to as “fluff and fold.” We add pickup and delivery to the traditional wash and fold service.
There are many reasons to use a wash and fold service.

How is your laundry packed for delivery?
The Wash and Fold service at your local laundromat has two goals: clean the clothes as fast as possible and as cheap as possible. Essentially, what you might expect from a professional service might be overlooked.
Packaging and presentation are big factors when deciding quality. At the Wash Crew, we believe wash and fold doesn’t mean wash it, fold it, and stuff it back into one big wrinkled mess. As a standard treatment, we return all collared shirts, blouses, and dresses on hangers.
We offer drawer-ready packaging – meaning your clothes are returned in individual drawer-ready bags aimed at getting your laundry organized and ready for the drawer. Saving two hours on laundry doesn’t mean much if you have to spend hours hauling a big bag around between rooms to get the clothes sorted. Kids’ pants are packed with kids’ pants. Socks and underwear are together, etc.

What are the differences between wash and fold and dry cleaning?
Wash and Fold: This is our service for your everyday laundry. Your laundry is sorted by our expert staff, washed in a commercial washing machine, tumble dried in a commercial dryer, then folded for you. Some people use this as a replacement for their washing machine and others use it when they just need some help getting caught up!
For example: Socks, Tshirts, Jeans, Sheets, and Towels.
Dry Cleaning: In contrast, dry cleaning is a much more involved process than wash and fold. First, your clothes are inspected, treated for stains, then cleaned with a chemical solvent. No water is used in dry cleaning! Clothes are gently washed in the solvent to cause the soils, stains, and oils to loosen. These garments are then either steamed or pressed to remove wrinkles.
Garments made of taffeta, silk, wool, velvet, acetate, and fabric blends that include rayon, silk, and wool should be professionally dry-cleaned unless the care label says differently.our
