How do I get started with my first laundry pickup?
Your new routine starts with putting your dirty clothes in a Wash Crew bag, dropping it at your door for pickup, and receiving freshly washed and folded laundry back to you. Just click to order! Pricing details are available in the app.
Create an account by scheduling online or downloading and using our app. Residential and Business orders can both be scheduled in the app.
- Enter your contact details.
- The app will verify your address falls within one of our Service Areas.
- Choose your cleaning preferences.
- Set driver notes to let us know where you will leave your clothes.
- Enter your payment information
- Lastly, schedule your first pickup.
What bags should I use for my first laundry pickup?
Simply leave your laundry in a disposable bag at the front door, and we will arrive to pick it up. Please do not send hampers, they may be damaged during transport.
When we return with your fresh laundry, we’ll include a Wash Crew bag to use next time. Just stuff it full for your next pickup.
Should I separate my clothes?
Not at all. We do that for you. Our standard procedure calls for checking pockets and reading the care labels for proper handling of your clothing. However, it really helps us out if you can notify us if you have stains or special treatment requests in your notes or on the items in question. We offer plenty of treatment options in your account preferences and will bleach whites, add softener, iron items, or hang dry your special items. You make these selections in our app when creating an order.
Do I need to be home for my first laundry pickup?
There is no need unless you want to meet our drivers. Most people just leave their clothes out for us to pick up.
If you leave driver notes in your account it makes it easy for us to ensure pickups and deliveries go smoothly without having to call or ring your doorbell for direction. We notify you when we’re on our way and again when we’ve picked up or delivered your laundry.
How are clean clothes packed for delivery?
Folding is an art, not a science. We pack like-items in individual drawer-ready bags aimed at keeping your laundry ready for the drawer. Shirts with shirts. Pants with pants. Kids clothes with kid’s clothes, etc. All wash and fold garments are returned crisply folded.
How do other people use the Wash Crew?
There is no right or wrong way to use the service.
Most Wash Crew customers do laundry during the week – sending in 1-2 bags per week, though there are plenty who send in more and plenty who send in less. Try it out a few times and see what works best for you!
Some people use it weekly, some monthly and others as an emergency solution.
The point is that delivery laundry is really a day-saver. Everyone can use some help lightening the load! But it isn’t a one size fits all service. Lighten your load and find what works for you – whatever it is, we’ve got you covered.
